夢に浮かぶカタチ

夢は心地良い。
恐ろしい夢も、悲しい夢も
デタラメで面白い。
とはいっても、毎日見る夢の殆どは
目覚めると、当たり前のように
忘れてしまっている。
しかし、その余韻はいつまでも
消えないで残っている。
やがてその余韻は、
実際見た情景から離れ
独立したイメージとなって
勝手な形となって蘇る。
つかみ所のない世界を
つかみ所のない形に置き換える。
デタラメでありながら均整のとれた、
脈絡が無い様で秩序正しい
シャープであってボンヤリとりとめなく...
そんな形とそれを取り巻く大気を
私は創造したいと思います。

Shapes that drift in my "imagination"
I feel something special about
the word "imagination"
When you walk through a street
you are familiar with.
When you look over the monotonous
cityscape from your room.
If you use your "imagination" things
look different.
Imagine the blue ocean awaits
in the end of this road.
Your mind start taking off
ordinary appearances,
then grasping images
that are fresh and inspiring.
In there, they seem to have
no order but are balanced,
irrelevant to context of daily life
but natural to your feeling,
look intense and sharp but
too obscure to grasp.
My aim of creation is to give my imagination shapes
and colors,to reproduce
the atmosphere of my world of imagination,
within and around my works.
For me, "imagination" is the source of creativity.。
